Horse Race Politics (HRP) is a gamified political forecasting platform that brings fantasy sports logic to elections.

Developed by Dr. Louis Bromfield and Prof. Matt Wall at Swansea University in partnership with Focus Games, HRP lets users predict political outcomes, compete on leaderboards, and discuss forecasts. Backed by impact funding from the 2026 Welsh Election Study, HRP is currently focused on the upcoming Senedd election. The site includes tools for making predictions, sharing news, and engaging socially around electoral politics.
